About the property
A versatile logistics centre with more than 24 000 square metres of rental space is being built on a 45 000 square-metre greenfield plot. Divided into three building units, which can be let to either a single user or multiple users, the property has 21 000 square metres of hall space, 1300 square metres of social and office space, and around 1800 square metres of mezzanine space. The building also has three ground-level entrances. In addition to its attractive design, the property also stands out due to the planned implementation of high ESG standards: rooftop photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, seepage areas, e-charging stations, and facade greening. The aim is to achieve BREEAM “Very good” certification.

About the North Rhine-Westphalia logistics region
The Ruhr area in the global hub of North Rhine-Westphalia is an important location for the logistics industry, and is one of the largest economic regions in Germany and Europe. Thanks to the existing infrastructure in the Ruhr area, there are many options with regard to freight transport. The dense road network offers ideal conditions for rapid distribution by road, both within the city and into the wider surrounding area. Inland waterway connections to the North Sea ports can be found in Hamm, Lünen, Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen. In addition to handling bulk goods, the Port of Dortmund and the connected container terminal play an important role in supplying local trading companies.
