BEOS Logistics, a joint venture company of Swiss Life Asset Managers as a developer/investor of logistics real estate, will be integrated into Swiss Life Asset Managers with immediate effect. The contact persons of the clients remain unchanged.
Swiss Life Asset Managers has decided to fully integrate BEOS Logistics into Swiss Life Asset Managers as part of its strategic alignment. This includes a uniform brand identity as Swiss Life Asset Managers from March 2023.
“Following the establishment of BEOS Logistics in 2020, this step will enable us to bundle our competencies across Europe and offer our clients our broad range of services even better from a single source in this asset class. We are thus laying the foundation for further long-term growth in the field of logistics real estate,” says Stefan Mächler, Group CIO of Swiss Life.
“We are very pleased and ambitious to take our close cooperation to the next level and become an integral part of Swiss Life Asset Managers. This not only underlines our successful establishment as a relevant player in the European logistics real estate business since BEOS Logistics was founded, but also our ambition as Swiss Life Asset Managers to leverage the enormous potential in this sector with its value chain for clients, investors and property owners. As one of the leading real estate asset managers in Europe, we are ideally placed to continue our impactful approach on a European level,” emphasizes Ingo Steves, Managing Partner BEOS Logistics GmbH.
Berlin-based BEOS Logistics GmbH was founded in 2020 as a joint venture between Swiss Life Asset Managers, Ingo Steves and Stephan Bone-Winkel. The company covers the entire spectrum of a leading investor-developer platform for the Logistics asset class. The company is led by Ingo Steves, Managing Partner at BEOS Logistics, who will continue to be responsible for the Logistics asset class of Swiss Life Asset Managers.
The integration comes from a very good market position. Following the successful development of an initial portfolio comprising more than 250,000 square meters of modern, sustainable logistics space at strategic logistics locations in Germany, Europe's largest logistics real estate market, the next development pipeline is already being prepared with more than 2 million square meters of land. It is planned, in the medium term, to expand business activities into other major European logistics markets.
In line with the philosophy of Swiss Life Asset Managers, it remains a common and overriding goal to contribute to a more sustainable logistics real estate industry. BEOS Logistics' properties already set high ESG standards and new benchmarks in competitive comparison. This approach will continue to be driven forward in the future.
