Chief Operating Officer Swiss Life Asset Managers Deutschland
As COO of Swiss Life Asset Managers Germany, Dr Christine Bernhofer is responsible for the development and management of regulated and non-regulated fund products and vehicles for real estate and securities investments under German law. She is also Managing Director and CEO of Swiss Life KVG, through which Swiss Life Asset Managers offers real estate funds for institutional and private investors. Her responsibilities there include the development of corporate strategy, sales, fund management, purchasing and sales, and asset management.
Dr. Christine Bernhofer studied business administration at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, where she also completed her doctorate. She then held management positions at real estate companies including UBS, TMW Pramerica and MEAG before joining Swiss Life Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft mbH in 2016, first as CFO and then as CEO.
In 2016, Anett Barsch was elected to the federal board of BFW at the German Real Estate Congress; within the association, she has already been a board member of the North Rhine-Westphalia regional association since 2014.
