Swiss Life Asset Managers supports the Cornelius Foundation in Germany. The “Cornelius Foundation for Children of Addicted Parents” was established in 2001.
The foundation’s main objective is to support children from addicted and socially deprived families, thereby giving them better prospects for their future. In doing so, we develop holistic approaches to solutions in the area of conflict between “the mother’s addiction – support for the affected child – the mother-child bond”.
Since 2005, the foundation’s most important aid project has been the Cornelius House in Cologne’s inner city. Here, as part of the “Clearing Residential Program”, addicted pregnant women and mothers who wish to escape their addiction are admitted together with their children, and receive addiction therapy for up to a year and a half.
The Cornelius Foundation serves exclusively charitable purposes and is recognized by the tax authorities as a non-profit organization. Your commitment can also help to create prospects for children from families with addiction problems. At the Cornelius Foundation, you can be sure that 100 percent of your donations will be used for the foundation’s projects and accompanying scientific work. All employees work on a voluntary basis.
